The tick-tock of the clock or the fluttering leaf in the shivering winter wind,
A silent reminder of the unfulfilled promises, ringing in the corners of mind.
Somewhere a drop of dew falls on the ground,unnoticed by the sleeping flower,
A muffled bell chimes nearby, reminding it again of the shower of the bygone hour.
The moist ground,laid around, unperturbed by the rain or the single drop of dew;
But the moon looked on,seeping in the sleet and watched as the night flew.
One single star,it's light lost somewhere,kept on searching,for another dark night;
No dew drop to reflect on,no moon to look on,no wind to carry the sigh of unborn sight..
